Inland Water
Messing about in boats, there's nothing quite like it (but always wear a lifesaver! Health and safety...) Britain has a whole collection of wonderful inland waters, from broad salmon fishing rivers, city rivers, cascading waterfalls to canals, lakes and reservoirs. Then of course there are the buildings and structures that go with them, wonderful bridges, locks...and THEN the glorious craft that float down them, traditional punts like those above, wonderful teak decked launches to barges, steamers and even battle ships! Get onboard.
